Join Us at Dome Upcycling’s “Love Story of Our Clothes” Drop-In Mending Workshop
Bring a beloved garment and share the heartfelt story behind it, those moments filled with love, laughter, and life. Whether it’s worn, torn, or just in need of a little TLC (tender, love and care), this is your chance to reflect on its journey and give it new life.
Our local upcycling designers and creative mending experts will be there to guide you in repairing and reviving your wardrobe favorites using hands-on, visible mending techniques.
This workshop is more than mending, it’s about connection. We welcome participants of all ages and cultural backgrounds to come together, exchange stories, and spark a shared passion for sustainable living.
Throughout the session, you’ll have opportunities to socialize, take part in open conversations about the future of fashion, and, if you wish, have your story captured through video or photography, preserving your garment’s legacy for generations to come.
Don't forget to bring along your most cherished pieces of clothing in need of repair!
Skill level: everyone from beginners to experts.
Language: Finnish, English, German, Polish.
Our experts:
Isabella Haas, circular designer and founder of Dome Upcycling
Kasia Jamrozik, sustainable fashion expert, founder of Upstitch Studio
