Dome Upcycling’s Art classes aim to develop art making skills and explore new art mediums, as well as combining them with the principles of upcycling. Upcycling is the process of transforming discarded materials into new creative art or crafts. Our creative projects range from learning the principles of painting and creating craft like jewellery. Every week a different medium will be the focus. We would be delighted if you could join us for weekly ongoing classes in a social and related setting.
Hosted by Thane Van Niekirk, a South African artist with fourteen years art teaching experience around the world. He has a passion for developing artists, designers and crafters. Thane also has a keen interest in upcycling and creating something from nothing.
Classes take place once a week and are ongoing monthly. The first teaching period takes place 21.5.-18.6. (counting as one month) and will ressume in the beginning of August 2022.
