1. Conditions of Use / General Conditions
Welcome to Dome Upcycling/EDEL City Ltd web-store (“Dome Upcycling”, we or us) that provides services subject to notices, terms and conditions as set out below. We ask that you abide by the terms and conditions that follow, along with any other terms and conditions that may appear on the Site from time-to-time (collectively, the “Terms”)By accessing, browsing, or shopping on this website, you agree to all the Terms in this agreement. Please read them carefully. We reserve the right to revise these Terms at any time. When we make changes, we will post them here. You agree to check this section periodically to be aware of any changes and your continued use of the Site shall be considered your agreement to any modified Terms. If you do not agree to the Terms, please do not use the Site.
DOME Upcycling sells design products, preloved fashion items, upcycling materials and services (“products”) to persons at least18 years old, organisations and companies in Finland and other selected countries. The products contain 24% VAT as per Finnish tax law. The products are in good condition, clean and usable. The condition of preloved fashion items and upcycling materials and traces of use worth mentioning can be found in the product description of each product.
Dome Upcycling web-store attempts to be as accurate as possible. However, we do not warrant that product descriptions and website content is accurate, free of errors, complete or current. Many of the products are made from recycling material and each product is unique and the colour or surface may vary and look slightly different than described in the Dome Upcycling web-store. If any product ordered from us that you receive isn’t described as shown on Dome Upcycling web-store, it can be returned – unused – as described in our returns policy.
We reserve the right to changes to prices and delivery terms.
Ordering takes place by selecting products, moving them to the shopping cart and paying the content of the shopping cart and the delivery cost at the check-out. We treat all customer data according to our privacy policy (see below). By ordering you agree to the terms of delivery.

3. Delivery Terms
These delivery terms concern the DOME Upcycling web-store https://domeupcycling.com
By ordering you agree to these delivery terms.
Delivery time
We send orders within 1-3 week days after receiving the order, unless stated otherwise. The customer will be informed immediately about any delays. Exceptional delivery times will be stated on the web-site in the product description of the product it concerns. We can not be held responsible for any delays and resulting cost that are caused by third parties or other forces that we can not control.
Delivery methods and cost
Packaging material is included in the delivery cost. Cost may vary depending on the country and means of delivery. Delivery cost occurs per order. Via the web-store ordered products are currently delivered by following methods:
Postal delivery (pick up from Post office), Postal delivery to doorstep (customer needs to provide his/her phone number), Pick-up (free)
Pick-up point: Dome Upcycling, Itäkatu 1-5, 00930 Helsinki, Finland (1.floor at shopping center ITIS). Opening hours: Mon-Fri 15-18, Sat 12-16. (customer is responsible for checking Dome Upcycling store at www.itis.fi web-site for exceptional opening hours)
Customer has to show the order confirmation and personal ID in order to receive the product. It can take 1-3 days for the product to be available at the pick-up point. The product has to be picked up within 14 days of ordering.
Return processing
According to Finnish consumer law (KSL 6:14) the customer has the right to cancel the order and return the ordered products by sending a written cancellation statement to customerservice@domeupcycling.com. The statement has be sent to DOME Upcycling within 14 days after receiving the ordered products. Not picking up the products from the Post office or just sending back the product without any written cancellation notice is not considered a cancellation of the order.
Cancellation notice
The cancellation notice has to contain following information:
Name, order number, date of receiving the products, delivery address, telephone number, email address, account number in IBAN form for returning the payment, a list of items to be returned, additional information, reason for returning (voluntary)
When cancelling an order, the customer has to return the products without any delay within 14 days after sending the written cancellation notice. The right to return concerns only sellable products that have not been in use by the customer. This means that the product has not been used more than checking the product and normal trying on. We can withhold the return payment until the product has arrived at our premises and has been checked. When the returned products have been checked and accepted, the payment will be returned directly to the customers account.
The customer is responsible for packing the product carefully and for any delivery cost that occurs from returning the product. The return package needs to contain following information: order number, name, address, phone number, IBAN bank account number
The products can be delivered in person or by Postal services to following address:
Dome Upcycling (shopping center ITIS), Itäkatu 1-5, 00930 Helsinki, Finland
Opening hours: Mon-Fri 15-18, Sat 12-16 (customer is responsible for checking Dome Upcycling store at www.itis.fi web-site for exceptional opening hours)
After the product has been returned the payment will be made according to above statement. The return payment is not made to the customer at the return point.
In case the product has been lost or damaged during delivery or the wrong product has been delivered to the customer, the customer has to inform immediately in writing to info@domeupcycling.com or by Post to Dome Upcycling/EDEL City Oy, Itäkatu 1-5, 00930 Helsinki, Finland. The written notice has to be made within 14 days of receiving the product and if the damage was caused by the Postal delivery service, a reclamation has to be made immediately to the Post office.
4. Payment Terms
Payment at the Dome Upcycling web-store can be made by following methods:
Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Klarna, Paypal, Apple Pay and

Shopify handles the payments with high security.
The full payment needs to be made at the checkout, after which orders will be dispatched. Dome Upcycling can not be held responsible for any additional card payment or transaction fees or import tax that may occur on the customer’s side.
5. Liability Limitations
Dome Upcycling web-store is not responsible for any liability, loss, personal injury, damage or expense that the customer may suffer after the transaction.
6. Dispute Clause
Any conflicts are dealt with and resolved in accordance with Finnish law. Any dispute relating to any activity on Dome Upcycling web-store or the purchase of any Dome Upcycling web-store products shall be submitted to confidential arbitration in Helsinki, Finland, unless you have in some way threatened or violated Dome Upcycling’s intellectual property rights, whereby Dome Upcycling may seek an injunctive.
7. Trademarks / Intellectual Property / Copyrights
Dome Upcycling is a registered Trademark. The rights to the content of the Dome Upcycling web-store, text and images belong to EDEL City Oy and may not be used for any commercial purpose without permission by EDEL City Oy.
